>that feeling of emptiness after you complete a game you really enjoyed
Stupid frogposter.
I love the feeling of completing a game I enjoyed, it's very satisfying, especially when I know I can play through again using a completely different build and a completely different alignment.
I don't understand that. Usually when I finish a game I really enjoy, I'm excited and want to talk about it on /v/
>tfw haven't experienced that feeling for a very time because all the games are shit now.
I don't really get that. I'm usually satisfied and thrilled because then I get to work on my backlog

>playing games you can "complete"
I only get that from TV series or anime series
When I marathon a show it consumes my life. I do nothing but eat, sleep, poop, and watch the show. Sometimes I might even skip the eating and sleeping. I even dream about the show. When I'm awake and not watching I have to rush back to it. I feel like the world and the characters are part of me.
And when it's over I feel hollowed out. Emptied. Like someone scooped out my guts and casually tossed them to the dogs. I've cried a few times. But after a day or two I usually feel better.
With video games I just don't get that way.
I dont feel empty, I feel glad that I was able to experience the game.

I only get that feeling when playing immersive RPGs
>enjoying a game so much
>sense its coming to an end
>start playing less so it wont end si fast
>eventually stop playing altogether and never beat it
I have a problem. 90% of games I play I don't beat
>await game for years
>expect it being better than anything in the series
>it's shit
TV series yeah
Books yeah
Vidyo games not really, or at least I dont remember ever feeling like that.
I want to say Mass Effect or DaS. They seem like that sort of game but I dont remember feeling empty after playing it.

Guess who's all alone reading the credits and staring at the main screen

>The end of Pokemon Red Mystery Dungeon where you leave the your friend behind
>that feeling of emptiness after you complete the game and the story is over, no new material for the characters and you are forced to let go
I immediately try a New Game+ just to cope with the fact that it will never be the same again and that it is time to move on. While doing that, a feeling of nostalgia begins to arise from the depths of my heart "Heh, everything began with such a little thing"
>Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival gets announced
>reminds me I should probably finish the PS3 version
>do so, but I'd hardly gotten anywhere so I was basically playing it from the start
>loved the cast, setting, music, gameplay despite the clunkiness etc.
>end up getting ridiculously into it and beating it twice, getting all three endings and getting the Platinum in the space of three weeks
>mad post-ending sadness, miss it a ton
>less than a week passes

>Hey other world! Take care ofinsert your name here!
