That's sadly true, because the game is ultimately a mediocre game that's really only good for one of two playthroughs. The story is more interesting than the gameplay itself, which tries to be a mix of "retro" and modern whilst failing to achieve the best qualities of the two.
If you guys want to see a better quality game made by the same crew, check out The Darkness instead.
