Doing a Darius or Axe ult feel satisfying. League skills are really flashy and Dota skills have a lot of burst depending on the hero so they feel good to play.

You're totally missing the point, Lich for absolutely no gold investment makes Meepo's life hell, and since Meepo naturally sucks the gold and xp away from his team having something like Lich to keep him in check essentially wins you the game.
Why would you play HotS when you can play Dota 2 custom games like Overthrow or 10v10? No one bothers with lasthitting in them either and you don't have to deal with the shame of playing HotS and you can even leave whenever you like without punishment of any kind.

I like to think I do okay for my skill bracket when I play a carry, but when I support I just go full retard.
I don't know when to harass/stack/look for ganks in other lanes. So I just sit there in lane and leech exp. Sure I see all this shit in the purge guide, but it just leaves my brain as soon as I get into the game.
I'm playing with a "friend" that said he'd help me and tell me what to do, but he's just mute the entire game until I fuck something up and get yelled at.

DotA is terrible with an awful community, but LoL is the absolute worst.
In DotA I've seen people doing unconventional builds and switching up lanes all of the time and unless the player actually sucks or you're teamed with some extraordinary spergs, nobody cared.
In LoL unless you pick and build your champion in perfect accordance with the meta and take role-appropriate lanes, you get reported and banned for being toxic. Probably have to fill a personality test too, now.
I have no idea why would anyone play this anymore. It's fucking Farmville tier, do the same exact things over and over and over again or you're toxic. Which is a shame because I played LoL from beta through Season 2 and it showed at least some promise as DotA but better. Popularity did it no good.

Play dota with muted chat for a while and only communicate through pings and don't flame, even if you really want to. After you mastered self control then unmute the chat.
