I was fully expecting the pre-legion event to be a recreation of the event at the end of vanilla beta.
Well I like Sylvanas, but in WoW she's always been more of a cheerleader of the horde, just a pretty girl who stands in the back and obeys whatever current warchief is doing, not an active politician, she passively stayed in Lordaeron when Thrall was in the seat, fought apothecary uprising because Thrall didn't like it, switched to expansion policy under Garrosh and created valkiras to please him, and then supported overthrowing of Garrosh for no personal reason. I just can't see her as an independant enough member of the horde to be put in charge of it.

Honestly, I would have liked to see Cairne be Warchief in crunch time and the horde take a more spiritual approach to repelling the legion from Azeroth. Unfortunately they already killed him off in a terrible anti climactic way.
So they are going full shadow magic again it seems. It feels so counter productive though, they keep telling us "now the horde will grow and embrace their shamanistic roots!" but then they put some hothead cutthroat on the throne which takes them right back to shadow magic and evil shit.
Then they spend all their time fighting corruption within themselves and never actually growing or developing beyond that.
