Apparently the LA shows were a bit on the loud side last time, especially the first one. I went to the second NY show and it was fine for me volume wise. Bring a set of plugs just in case and throw them in if you feel you need them I'd say.

For MoMoClo and Porter a few months ago it was seated, but every one stood making the seats useless and annoying.
I say just bring concert ear plugs cause they don't muffle the sounds exactly but more so lower the decibel lessening your chance of screwing up your ears. I got these, just search concert earplugs on ebay/amazon.
It's nice to have with you if you need it or not.
