Wheaton gets nothing. First, they're both married. But why is Wil constantly protecting FDay? What does he get out of it?

FDay is literally Wil's boss. She owns the production company and acts as producer for The Guild. Everything else Wheaton has done outside of the guild lately has bombed, so of course he's gonna stick up for his boss.
