So in your friends case I can just make a shiny-looking FPS in Unreal 4 and intentionally make it an unoptimized piece of shit, and he would tout it as GOTY because it requires a $2000 rig to run properly.

Fallout 4 was rated as the most highly anticipated AAA experience of 2015 from one of the most highly talented development studios in modern gaming.
Fallout 4 could have received a 50 and it would have still been overall superior to Memetale.

I have a 2500k OCed to 4.3GHz, paired with a 7950 OCed to 1100/1400MHz core/memory, and I drop down to 20 FPS when the main city, and about 40fps in Lexington. This is with godrays turned to low (it literally will not let me turn them off), shadows on medium, and everything else on "high" except textures, which are on Ultra because even putting them on High makes them look like absolute horse shit.
Bethesda cannot make a game properly on Gamebryo, and I'm starting to wonder if they even would be able to if they did get a new engine.I'm still having a pretty good time though, 34 hours in.

Nigger, i run it on Ultra 1080p at 60fps on a g3258+r9 280and 8gb ddr3 ram. Litetally sub $450 in parts. You just need something that's not your moms ThinkPad from 2006. It is completely ridden with embarrassing and hilarious glitches though. No excuses for that,
