I'm making a game; you're a wizard and you collect orbs that make you multiply into more wizards

You can also shoot fireballs by clicking

I'm opening this thread to suggestions; if I like it I'll implement it

I'll do that as soon as I figure out how to make Multiplayer. For now, this is a single-player game where all the wizards are controlled in tandem.

Different elements? Star with generic magic bolt then pick up a red orb for fire which gives double damage, pick up a blue orb that gives ice half damage but a slow?

instead of having the player click on the character to shoot fireballs in all directions, allow them to hold a button to do it. Like Alt or shift for example.

Clicking on a moving character to get your omnidirectional attack might be cumbersome, and if you give your players a consistent way to do it you could create more challenging obstacles.

I think the point of the game should be crazily intense, and as you progress on the screen zooms out and you can get like 250 wizards or more fighting a ton of enemies

I like >>316839313's idea a lot. I was originally going to make 10 wizards the max, but I think now that it would be cooler to be able to control an army. It could make for more intense moments and setpieces.

As for the pirate ship painting, could that anon (if he's still here) shrink it down to the resolution of the game's sprites?
