I've never beaten a Final Fantasy game
I've never owned a gaming PC
I enjoyed Mass Effect 3 and BioShock Infinite
Despite its flaws, i still loved MGSV and it will probably be my GOTY

I jerked off to Tetris once.

I've beaten so few games that I can name them all off the top of my head.

And if their sequels don't count, the number drops even more considerably.

I hate SMT and Persona and never once expressed any desire to play them because I hate their parent company because they made one game I had high hopes for yet ended up absolutely hating.
>>
>>316659861
I try out a good variety of games but just never bother finishing them
Not a normie, but a filthy neet with no motivation to do anything but shitpost
I try and get into a game, but even if I like it I get tired of playing within an hour
Lately most of my gaming time has gone to paradox games like ck2
>>
I play TES games vanilla.
>>
>>316660517

>>
>>316658616
I have spent a fuckload of time learning how to make 3d models, animation and learning warcraft 3 and JASS just so I can make a scaly dragon vore game in it
I haven't finished it because every time I open it I wind up spanking, getting tired, then not wanting to bother working on it
That drive of incompletion keeps me coming back to it to try to finish it, only to play it and fail to work on it more.
>>
I used to often use Action Replay and stuff for EXP multipliers in RPG's, and more recently with that not an option I've ended up buying level grinding DLC for certain games, though not nearly as often
>>
>>316659861
I'm just a reformed Nintendrone. I didn't hop off that bandwagon until like 2013. I'm just finally discovering non-Nintendo games. I've accumulated tons of PS1, PS2, and Xbox games. I've also got a PS3 on standby. Not to mention my Steam account is full of humble bundle games I haven't even installed yet.

The thing is, I just so happen to have only started games that have a lot of sequels, so my list of beaten games is pretty fluffed up.

I don't beat many games. Most games I play for 10 or less hours and then lose interest. I return to games often, however if I come back to an RPG, I usually restart it, so obviously I haven't beat many RPGs in my life. Even though they're one of my favorite genres. Plus I'm NEET so I don't have any excuse.

I usually hate and shitpost AAA western games, but I actually really like Destiny. I even loved it before TTK.
>>
I can count the number of JRPGS I've actually completed on my hands despite playing tons of them.

It's always at the last stretch I stop playing and then by the time I want to play again it's been so long I can barely remember where I left off and feel like starting over instead.

Never beaten a Final Fantasy game. I have FFXIII, which I've played for a few hours of, and FFXII which I got kinda far with, then stopped when I couldn't get past a part and got super bored with it. I'm interested in beating maybe the FF1 and 2 remakes, FF7 and its remake once that comes out, FFX, the FFXIII trilogy, and FFXV when that comes out too. Honestly if anything, I'm more interested in and tend to enjoy the spinoffs more than the main series, from what I've played. I also really enjoy FFXIII for its combat.

Still have not beaten Dark Souls. I haven't played any of the other games in the series either. But I will finish Dark Souls one day, I actually really enjoy it. I wish I had a proper gaming PC, so I could play the PtD edition instead of the vanilla console version.

I've started Deus Ex 1 like 4 separate times now and still have not beaten it. I really want to, since I actually really enjoy it. I really want to start DX:HR as well.

I started The World Ends With You like 3 different times and never finished it, despite, again, really liking it. I think it's b/c all of these games are RPGs and those types of games tend to be really long.

Despite being a huge fan of CUHRAYZEE, I have never yet beaten a single CUHRAYZEE game on its highest difficulty, although honestly, it's entirely within my capability to do so. I've actually started DMC3:SE on DMD mode with Dante and was finishing up a VH run with Vergil before I dropped it. I've also been playing Bayo 1 on NSIC mode on and off for awhile now, should get back on that.

I spoil the shit out of games that I've never played and regularly talk about them on here like I've played them. In fairness, this actually helps me to lower my expectations sometimes and enjoy games for what they are, although even that doesn't help sometimes (*cough*Other M*cough*).
>>
>>316664306
Also one more thing:

Despite being a NEET, I've barely played any games aside from a select few that are very specific to my interests within the past couple of years. I honestly think it's b/c I lack the motivation to do so. Although when I'm really in the mood for vidya, I'm really in the mood and can play for hours.

>>
>>316665435
The gameplay was fucking terrible dude.

I played it. I even spoiled the game going in so I KNEW what I was getting into. Ended up feeling like the game had absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Honestly probably one of the worst games of all time, even if its functionally fine from a technical point of view.

I hate the ps3 despite never owning one and never playing its games.

I solely base my hatred of the games based on my tastes, if a game doesn't match what I wanna play why would I buy a whole console for games I have no interest in. To be fair though, the last generation was a quality disaster. Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, it doesn't matter what you picked you had to pick through piles of shit to find anything worth playing, unless you have no standards then its w/e I guess

I got bored of DMC1 almost instantly and dropped to easy roughly half way through so I could finish it already. Honestly not even a lack of skill since I can beat God Hand on normal and other crazy hack and slash games like Bayonetta on hard just fine.
I use a walkthrough for the invesigation sequences in Ace Attorney games.

I own a gaming laptop
I own 26 amiibo's. 32 if you count the ones in the mail from Japan.
I'm autistic enough to make a living dex in Pokemon and completed every challenge in both the 3DS and Wii-U version of smash.
I fucking love Dead Rising but refuse to even try for seven day survivor unless the game gets a PC port as I barely use my 360
I've played every Metroid game but the only 2-d one I've beaten is fusion. Something about zero mission and super just rubs me the wrong way and 1/2 are too dated for me to enjoy.
Final Fantasy tactics advance, 13, and 13-2 are the only FF games I've beaten yet I'm buying the Cloud amiibo day one purely due to amiibo autism.

I've got years of pent up anger towards a good friend and passive-aggressively take it out on him in the games we play with mutual friends.

It's gotten so bad that I'm constantly pissed at him whenever I think about him and if there was even a single redeeming quality about him I'm sure it would make it somewhat better and I'd be willing to try to mend things. Portal is seen fondly because it's a fun game that started as a small experimental game in a pack of larger games. It wasn't originally released separately (from what I remember) because it wasn't thought it would be a success or that people would really like it. But people liked it enough that it got a sequel made and is thought of as a good game.

So it may seem overrated now but it wasn't even initially expected by Valve to be anything more than essentially a filler game in the Orange Box.

We went to college together, the four of us got one of the first floor dorms that are huge for people with handicaps, he had just had back surgery and the admin didn't really care and let us have it. It was awesome at the time, we played a ton of lan games and really got into table tops. Two of my loans suddenly dropped off the face of the Earth, so I couldn't come back the next year, but me and my wife lived five minutes from campus. So, it the the summer time, the aforementioned friend needed a place to crash while he tried to 'figure out' his life after school, it about to be his last year. He's so extremely introverted to anyone but the three of us, he blocked out the windows in his shared room, changed the locks on the door, put his bed in the way and moved his mattress to the floor. The room was gross, it ended up being three of us in the large room and him in his secluded den (More horror stories there of having to clean it for room checks.).

Anyways, at the time, I didn't really care, we all got along and I thought it'd be a ton of fun to have a buddy over for the summer, he had a job lined up and promised to pay rent. Not sure on the post limit, second post to come.

I only got to the start of Anor Londo in Dark Souls and I quit.

Not because it was hard or anything like that, but because I got bored.

The game was just too slow. So much time was spent just waiting for either my stamina bar to regenerate or for an opening in the enemy after their slow-ass attacks. Enemies and bosses are too simple and exploitable.

I watched the rest of the game on a YouTube playthrough. I didn't really miss much, fortunately. The only boss I'd like to fight is Gwyn, but I don't want to go through sluggish areas like Tomb of the Giants or New Londo Ruins just to do that.

So immediately things go wrong because he gets fired from his job within the first week, eventually found out that he wasn't even showing up to the job and when he did, he sat around and played on his DS. He worked with special needs kids, tutoring them and watching them when the parents needed him to. Our third friend (Psych major, now one of my best friends), stuck his neck out and pulled some strings to get him this job, because this guy changed his major several times because he couldn't cut it elsewhere. So, he gets a job at Walmart, nothing fancy. The second tragedy strikes and his car dies, nothing that isn't fixable, but he refuses to take care of it and eventually convinces me to let him borrow my car for work and back(That is an entire other story). So, few hiccups, but then it gets worse and worse. I failed to realize too late that the other two friends were buffers, this guy one on one is unbearable after so long. My wife took an internship back in our hometown, back in Texas, so it's just me and him. I stayed on top of keeping the place clean, but it started to just be gross all the time, I'd clean and clean, but the living room turned into a swampy ass paradise. Even the car would be trashed and he couldn't be bothered to lift a finger. I bought so many fucking glade plugins that summer.

First month rolls around and he doesn't pay his half of the rent, so I remind him several times that week that he needs to cut us a check (Not that we really needed it, but he promised to cover his expenses) and he told me that we actually agreed he'd pay us at the end of the summer. After four hours of us arguing about it, he got up and just left in my car. More to come, it actually helps a bit to vent.

Unpopular opinions means "I dislike/like thing"

Sins can involve other things like "I don't do thing because stupid reason"
>>

Confess sins is a guilty pleasure thread in disguise.
Unpopular opinions is a shitposting thread in disguise.
>>
>>316673205

A gaming sin is oftentimes an unpopular opinion.

For example, it's generally considered a gaming sin to hate popular and classic franchises like Mega Man, Zelda or Mario.

It would be a gaming sin to dislike these games. It would also be an unpopular opinion.

That's why gaming sins are oftentimes unpopular opinions.

I like turn based combat but I agree with you that the way it's implemented in JRPGs isn't very good. If you haven't already try more tactics based games like XCOM (both originals and reboot), Silent Storm, Jagged Alliance, among others. There are plenty of 4x games (think Civilization) that are also good.

Expedition: Conquistador came out relatively recently and got good reviews but I haven't played it.

Already worried out of my mind about leaving him in our apartment with no one to clean up after him, I finally get him to agree to keep the place clean by offering him half off what he owes us (300 bucks off the 600 he owed us for the first month, even I hated offering that). So, I drive my car up one last time to the airport and he drives it back, I could've sworn I'd just made a deal with the devil. It didn't last long, made it to Texas and spent two weeks with her and my family and hers, had a general good time and didn't hear a peep from him the entire time. It was almost eerie, but I figured maybe he had turned a new leaf. My sister picks me up when I get back to Arkansas (Should've mentioned that's where we were going to college), we spend the day just hanging out and she drops me off. The dread set in when I get to the door and it's not locked and halfway open, our car isn't even there, so he left for work (I assumed) and just didn't give a fuck about closing and locking the door. The living room was trashed and the stench was actually coming out from the doorway. I could see the dishes in the sink stacking up and overflowing from the doorway, which is fucking impressive because there's a tall ass divide there, two feet from the top of the divide to the rim of the sink. There was maybe three dozen Starbucks cups littered around, some just laying on the carpet and spilled. He must've tried to clean up a massive spill and just threw a towel over it, which was stuck to the carpet. The fold out couch we had him one was ruined, he'd spent so much time in the middle of it, it had ruined the metal foldout frame and the cushion was a pancake, that aside, it was the messy smears everywhere on the couch that was the most alarming. More to come.

I unironically like Gone Home, Dear Esther, and Proteus.
I ALWAYS savescum. I just can't help myself.
I'm currently gaming on a Macbook, because, even though I built a gaming PC, it stopped working over a year ago and I've been too lazy to figure out the problem and fix it.
I always play through games on either the easiest or second-easiest difficulty. I don't think I've ever played through a single game on anything higher than that.
>>
I've a opinion that may be different from most people around here.
>>
Never played Kingdom Hearts
Never played Dragon Quest
Never played Tales
Never played a Yoko Taro game
Never played a single Xbox exclusive
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is the best game in the series
I bought a PS Vita just to play PS1 Classics, the one game that interests me is Persona 4 but it's too expensive at the moment.

That's exactly why I asked you to tell us. Get stressful thoughts out of your head and into writing keeps them from building up to unhealthy levels.

i've never actually owned a game console. pc only for 20 years. it's not even some ideological choice, it's just easier to double-click an exe than go buy special hardware to play games on.

i don't play multiplayer at all. online shooters stress me out and mmos bore me to tears.

loot-driven games in general lose me after a few hours. the only one i've ever finished is diablo 1.

never finished a jrpg. i came close with (emulated) chrono trigger but i still got bored before the end.

i used to love wrpgs but can't muster any excitement for nostalgia wrpgs like pillars of eternity.

i kickstarted broken age mostly because of the documentary. i only watched half of it and never played the game. i don't regret the purchase.

i have hundreds of unplayed games in my steam library but also 800+ hours in crusader kings 2.

i have a programming background, some modding experience and an interest in game design. i've taught myself basic modeling in blender and it's very fun. i checked out unity and find it fairly trivial to use. despite all this, i'm unable to commit to an actual gamedev project. i have a ton of game ideas that i fantasize about regularly but in the end i just play ck2 and look at porn and accomplish nothing.

The bathroom was just covered in his nasty pube like hairs from his 'beard' he trimmed daily and missed cleaning up. I don't think he managed to piss straight the entire time I was gone, the laminate around the toilet had cracked away from the walls and was stained. Sparing the details any further, the place was a wreck. He even took advantage of my office while I wasn't there and it took me a week to get my computer working right again (He used a guest account and I didn't have trust issues at the time and it wasn't restricted at all). I managed to hitch a ride to Walmart with another friend I'd made at school who lived nearby and found my car in absolute chaos. The passenger side seal was window high in fast food bags, more coffee cups and junk food galore. I should mention, his lunch break consisted of buying two of those huge ass packs of Hawaiian sweet rolls and two peach milks by Promised Land (It's burned into my mind) and just sitting in the car and eating and leaving the trash. The back seat was just as gross, several work shirts and pairs of pants and god knows what else (I forced him to clean it). There were several dents in the bump and driver door, and the worst part, two new tires. The car had bugs living in it among the trash, I could see them after opening the door. I drove my car back to the apartment and packed all his shit, tossing it into the back of my now nasty car, grabbing the entire box of trash bags, I drove back up and just waited, fuming for another two hours. He waddled out and looked almost surprised to see me and he attempted to fucking pretend he didn't notice, like getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar. I get out and yelled at him for I don't know how long, while he cleaned up all of his garbage. He asked me several times why his stuff was in the trunk and I just kept telling him to keep cleaning. I can't remember the exact number, but six is cutting him a break. More to come.

Not him, but I remember autistically writing a script on what to say when I confront this guy I hate. I spent days on it, trying to predict his possible responses and so on. In the end I never used any of it because I wasn't as stressed

Ah no what you are depicting in the picture is not what I meant, I love XCOM for example but I hate Final Fantasy.

It just feels like they're all made for children. And people who love killing time.

I drove him and the trash in the trunk on top of his stuff because I wasn't having any of it. Back at the apartment he tosses the bags and proceeded for the next few hours to half assedly clean the apartment while complaining about me being too mean and harsh, he barely did anything, running water on a dish and not using a sponge doesn't count. I didn't even notice it, but the dishwasher was full pizza boxes, so that didn't help. After having enough of his shit, I drove him to his car, called my dad who helped me diagnose his car issue to just being a simple fix (Replacing the battery and replacing a gasket on something leaky, blind rage really makes some bits fuzzy). I took him to autozone and he tried to reason with me, that I didn't give him time to clean up and that I had gotten there a day early (I was there three days after the original date, missed the flight by a few minutes because fuck Houston, decided to stay a few more days and I told him this). When we got there, he determined looked at me when we parked and told me that he was even with the growing bill because he replaced two tires that he destroyed (Both of them had gotten nails in them in the back of the Walmart parking lot where he was parking before they went flat.), which was followed into another huge fight before he finally got out of the car. It's pushing seven at night and they finally get his battery back to him and the sealant he needed and I drive him back. I fixed his car with my dad on speaker phone to help me (I'm ashamed to admit I'm not car savvy) and we got the car started and the leaky whatever sealed. I unloaded all his shit and just left him there (I do have some regret there, I could've handled some of it better personally, but there's only so much a person can handle) . More to come.

There was that one Anon who went clubbing, but didn't know what to do on the dance floor. So he just bounced on his knees and imitated reloading animations from vidya

I play single-player FPS's on easy difficulty and still struggle at certain points. In any multiplayer fps setting I do really well, it's just single-player where I suck.

I really want to play old classics (Deus Ex, Kotor, Baldurs Gate1/2, etc) but I can't stomach the horrendous graphics on most of them. Not even a graphics fag usually.

Best game of all time is either Final Fantasy Tactics or Patapon 1 and 2

He went to the fifth friend's place, the guy who gave me a ride to Walmart in the first place. It took almost three days of straight up cleaning and repairs to get the apartment get back to some level of not gross as fuck. After that it started, the rage building and the general hate towards him, every fucking thing he did just set me off. It took me four post to get to his gaming habits. He's the kind of guy that hasn't beaten a game without making himself invincible if it's possible by a mod or boosting himself to max level via same method. He's the guy when he's on your team you just know is gonna be a living liability. He dies first, dies all the time, doesn't heal himself, blames everyone but himself, can't take criticism without acting like you just crucified his parents, min-maxes EVERY FUCKING GAME possible, spends hours and hours online on any wiki to find where the most broken gear is, (Getting into mobafag territory) feeds his lanes, can't attribute for shit in anything. The last two years have been a living hell because Psych friend spent a lot of time trying to patch up the bridge there, so we did a lot of group games, either a three man or four man when it allowed. We played through both Dark Souls games on PC, both Borderlands games, Torchlight II, Dead Island, Dungeon Defenders, LOTR: War In The North, both PAYDAY games, the list goes on. It just baffles me how he exists. I could go on, but I've already gone on too much. Maybe I left out some details here and there, it's four in the morning here.

I was sure they were newcomers in Brawl

I barely play videogames but I spend my days here

I look forward to games I'll never play
I have a huge backlog but I never touch it

fallout 4 is honestly the best game I've played since spring, I also have absolutely no problems with it and have only seen very minor glitches
I play it and every other one of my pc games on a laptop, which is apperently the worst thing you could own for vidya according to /v/

Fanservice is one of the best ways to convince me to buy a game, so long as the gameplay is half decent.

Like seriously, if it's titillating in some way and the characters don't look like shit, you pretty much got me.

I prefer games to be on my Vita/3DS over PC, because I like being able to relax on my bed playing Vidya.

I think /v/ is fucking retarded and has not the slightest clue on how game development works.

I host fighting games on a wireless connection.

Started up Undertale like 3 times and never got further than Flowey because he was too scary.

I sometimes cheese hunts in Monster Hunter by baiting a monster to the entrance to an area, then repeatedly hit-and-running between that area and the next and back (works nicely with a great sword with art of unsheathing).
Feels cheap but you never risk dying with an escape to another area always nearby.

I love games I've never played because of their music, characters, and style.

Luigi was in the original, you dumbass. Why wouldn't he have also been in Melee like the other 3 that returned in Melee???????
>>
Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game but I've only ever beaten it with a guide.

I cried a LOT when playing Undertale, partially because I heard the gunshot that put my cat down during the scene right before meeting Asgore. I can't listen to the soundtrack anymore without tearing up.

I enjoyed NOX more than Diablo II.
>>
I enjoy MOBAs to traditional RTS because losing units makes me stressed. I enjoy base building more than fighting.

I mean dude, you're worse than people who play VNs. You're literally on the wrong fucking board. It wasn't the economical crysis that forced AAA publishers change their habbits, it's userbase like you that ruined videogames and killed pretty much every experimental AA+ game for atleast a decade until the next crash
>>
>>316672302
>you've got the means to
It's still cheaper though.

But yeah, if people post into speccy threads and they attach images of their rigs they're just the equivalent of V-tec fags who buy a diesel Civic and make it grind the road while sounding like an unmuffled vacuum cleaner

I have never solved a Skyrim puzzle by myself, instead looking up the solutions on an internet wiki. I'm there to explore a world and to kill things, not to think.

I've never played a game on hardmode, it's usually either easy or normal.

I've jacked off to women John Marston ties up with his lasso and then carries around in RDR. Also I've gotten erections whenever I chased civilian women trying to murder them with throwing knives and they ran away screaming.

I haven't enjoyed a single game besides Witcher3 since I started playing LoL.

I read all of that. How the fuck does a person like that still live?

Sounds like you have every right to cut him out of your life completely, with the way he's been treating you.

If I were you I would refuse playing any games where he is involved. Let your friends know. They probably agree that he's an asshole. Just let them know that you won't play with them if he joins.

I had a similar guy - not nearly as bad, and I didn't know him personally. He was just a friend of a friend who was a raging blaming asshole who also sucked at the game.
My friends know that I don't want to play with him, and they respect that.

>It just feels like they're all made for children. And people who love killing time.

They were made for angsty teenagers and NEETs, which is pretty evident when you look into any Kingdom Hearts thread.

Xcom was done for a different audience. People who had a PC in the early 90s were usually students on a technically oriented university, prgrammers, engineer or people who read books without images in general.

>I have never solved a Skyrim puzzle by myself, instead looking up the solutions on an internet wiki. I'm there to explore a world and to kill things, not to think.

Skyrim's "puzzles" aren't worth spending time on anyway. Every puzzle in that game is just looking at directions on the wall and turning stones. It's embarrasing.

>I haven't enjoyed a single game besides Witcher3 since I started playing LoL.
I know that feel. I only started enjoying single player games again after I stopped playing League and WoW.

I can't tell if this is bait or not. You can literally solve each one by randomly interacting with objects in the same amount of time it takes to search for a solution.

I haven't played a Sonic game I haven't enjoyed, and I've played just about every Sonic game. Well maybe Sonic Blast on the Game Gear but that wasn't too bad but it was certainly flawed.
