I'm not 100% sure yet, but I don't think you can level the Nomad at all. I think you have to summon either Lam, Yam, or Om, and level them up instead. They're supposed to represent your body, legs, and head, so I think levelling them raises your stats. I'm still not 100% on it yet though, and I kind of like that.

Monsters lost the war so fast because it was without warning and monsters wanted to flee, not fight. Yes, Humans stomped monsters but that doesn't mean all humans can actually stop monsters, not to mention Asriel, the goat nerd, with only 1 human soul, could have killed ENTIRE VILLAGES but he refused to do so. Now a monster only needs to take 1 human soul to overpower humans, 2 a he is, well a monsters and beyond lays godly powers. The monsters already have 7 souls and they could go to a graveyard to literally farm souls. That's the power humanity feared so much. Don't try to avoid that fact, humans didn't just sealed the monsters underground, they did it because monsters are fucking dangerous to humanity as a whole and Frisk defeated THE ULTIMATE monsters. One with 6 human souls and all the monster souls in the underground.

Okay cool but you're missing the part where they can also be killed by fucking ballerina shoes in the hands of a small child. A CHILD WITH BALLERINA SHOES IS CAPABLE OF KILLING THE FINEST WARRIOR MONSTERS. Monsters are fucking weak man, an average human being could wipe the floor with them.
The attacks they do to you are against your soul or whatever that heart is supposed to represent, not frisk themself. Outside Genocide run Frisk is an average human child, who would probably die if for instance, someone like Madotsuki stabbed him.
Now, how well the ability to dodge with your soul (???) translates to any actual reflexes is beyond me, I think the whole game is a lot more interesting when you consider that outside of using save/load a small child is capable of destroying an entire species with something as simple as a rusty knife.

They are all weak as shit phisically (a little girl with a fucking tutu and ballet shoes had no problem killing them up until Undyne) and their babby tier bullet patterns can only attack the soul, not the body. And Frisk never did beat deviantart reject Asriel in a straight fight, he just friendshipped that goat until he calmed the fuck down. A killing machine with arguably even more DETERMINATION than Frisk like Brad or Buddy could brush him off like he's nothing. Actually, regular humans in Olathe are pretty damn crazy, with most of them being strong enough to bench press cars on a regular basis and having the hability to shoot fireballs and finger lasers. Not to mention having actual weapons like swords and machine guns
