Nah, me and my little brother still play Smash all the time when I come over. He loves the thing. It doubles as a Netflix box for the parents, too.
I'll probably buy Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD, and the new Zelda game all at once to play.
Just picked one up last week. I missed out on basically all Nintendo games past the SNES. We had a GCN and a Wii but they were in my little brothers room and I never paid any attention.
Plus I have a wife and a kid so now they have something a little bit more for them, since they only really use the PS4 for Netflix.

Hundreds of hours of fun with exclusives and I can mod the wii mode to play GC, Wii and emulators. The thing is pretty much a god-like couch multiplayer machine that I carry around friends houses.
Why would I regret the only gen 8 console with games? Add in that it is the only gen 8 console with true backwards compatibility and I can catch up on Wii games I missed. No, no regrets at all.

Got it as a gift, but even if I paid full price I'd still love it. Smash and Mario Kart make local multiplayer great, Dong Freeze is easily the best performer of the last decade, and fun titles like Captain Toad and Pikmin 3 keep tings interesting. We still have Star Fox and Xeno coming out, and I've yet to check out Bayo2 and SM3DW.
I'm becoming more casual these days so it does the trick being my only system, but most people would benefit from getting one only after they have a PS4 or PC to compliment it with.

No. It did sit gather dust when I first bought it last november, but that was mainly because the people in my home use the one HDTV in my home almost all the time (also the set up is like a fucking bar so you have to look up really high which is immensely uncomfortable). Didn't help that the game pad's range couldn't reach though to my room which is in the room right next to the room with the TV.
However I recently moved it into my room not hooked up to a TV at all. Since then I've been playing it on a daily basis and the best part is, the gamepad now reaches into the bathroom! Man playing a console in the bathroom is fucking heaven. I've dreamed of having something like that for years.

That's not obvious at all, since Bloodborne alone is a such a superb game that nothing in the Wii Us library sizes up. The best thing they have is Bayonetta 2, which admittedly is an excellent action game, but really, not much substance there. To make a comparison, Bayonetta 2 is the Michael Bay's Transformer's Hollywood Summer movie to Bloodborne's "The Birth of a Nation".

I loved it. The release schedule is very sparse right now though, the only games I'm really looking forward to are xeno and #FE. Star fox looks old and annoying to play having to keep track of 2 screens, new zelda will be on NX.
That said I definitely got my use out of the system. I probably have over 50 games for the thing between retail, eshop and VC stuff. No regrets. Funnily enough I bought it in anticipation of jamming smash and kart and ended up not really getting into them.

You weren't "feeling it at all" because a) you're playing it in a social environment on a system that's not your own, b) you were too busy feeling your friends most lips wrapped around your tender penis and vice versa, it's only natural that bros suck eachother off when hanging out so I'd imagine that'd be a bit too distracting to appreciate a game that requires all of your mental faculties.

I got it really cheap so I can't say regret but I'm more disappointing in the console than anything.I dislike a bunch of the games personally like smash 4 which I think I dislike more than brawl and mk8 its not fun at all.
There was some gems like bayo2,w101,splatoon (which might be one of the best on this console). It has a decent indie selection too. But 3 years on the market and finally getting its first proper jrpg and still no sight of other genres and beloved IP's lacking games would be a generous term.

I only boot it up these days to play smash but xenoblade x is right around the corner which I've been waiting for for sooo long. The library could be stronger but I'm still pleased. Not to bring up console war bullshit but I'm glad I decided to get this over the PS4, I fucking love Bloodborne but that would literally be the only game I owned for it, until DQXI/Persona 5/Nier 2 came out.
