It has an interesting concept, and I love the game, but from a more objective view point it is quite lacking. The combat, which you'll have to do a lot of, for example, has no real depth to it. You'll basically get Gravity Kick and spam that for the entire game. The gimmicky controls are hit or miss, but I don't know if that will be an issue with the PS4 release. However, Kat's powers in general are pretty fun to use, and the game's soundtrack is quite good. The game had a lot of promise, which the sequel may or may not deliver on.

They said the town is going to have a lot more mini games/side quests. The first one had great mini games that made use of the gravity powers, it just needed more of them, so thats great. Really harkens back to the early 3D games days though, with all the collecting shit in obscure places. that purple town was just maximum comfy on the vita. I think gravity rush is the only open world game I like because of how good movement is, the music, and art style. Its suitable for a vita game but they might up the ante now with a bigger budget on stronger hardware. I mean you cant expect it to be bayonetta but maybe something like a beat em up or yakuza etc. i just have a feeling some of the magic is going to be lost. As for Uncharted you're not missing much by not playing 3. It's fun enough, but the main story is lacking. As I'm sure you've heard, they created the set pieces first and strung them together later, while the 'A' team worked on TLOU. The best moments in 3 were to do with Drake and Elena's relationship since it actually tied it really well thematically, but she's barely in it compared to the prior entries. Also much shorter than 2.

Puppeteer was great, just recently platinumed it. I just wish they let you choose your head loadout at the start of every level, the way they went about it was idiotic, especially since you just played the level until you got a Kotaro head drop most of the time. Voices were great, levels were enjoyable, and the story was fun enough to follow, though I don't know why but it felt like it dragged on for ages for some reason. It's like I had to force myself to play the Spanish levels onward.
