Because the truth is the xbone's hardware really isn't that far from the PS4. The problem with the Xbone at the start was the Kinect ate resources up, now that's basically gone from the equation and with DX12 you should see slightly better performance (I'm not saying the graphics will look better but FPS should be more consistent).

Fallout shooting isn't great in the first place, it's not something I want to engage in much really because of that. I'd rather lay back on the couch and be comfy and abuse VATS which fills your crit meter anyway.

Have you played Fallout 4? It comes up short in a lot of areas, but the gun play is heavily improved and feels like an actual FPS now. I've only used VATS once and I vowed to never use it again because it put me at a disadvantage compared to just aiming myself.

Yes, I have like 20 hours in. I tried it with a M/KB even with the "fixes" and it's just not a smooth shooter.

VATS kinda sucks if you have low perception but my build is nearly maxed out for Sniper perk and letting me chose crits with Crit Banker feels really great.

There is no reason for a PS4 version of game to run worse than an Xbox version outside faulty coding (consumer-wide issue) or faulty hardware construction (case-by-case).

They both use x86, but PS4 has better hardware.

The sad part is the whole point of x86 was to help support easier development, more cross-platform gaming, and less shoddy ports.

Instead we got less games than the previous generation because publishers went full Jew mode when they heard TPP was around the corner to protect their Jewy asses.

I just don't understand how anyone can defend a company that makes PC video games, dumbs them down, then reverse-ports them back to PC.
