Can someone tell me what's the point of this game and other loot hoarder games?
My best friend removed me from Steam because I didn't want to have him run through the armory DLC(I'm on the 2nd PT) with his max lvl character and kill everything in one shot just so he can get infinite items or whatever because I've never done that DLC and I want to enjoy it at the right level(I was 10 behind)
He said I was missing the point which is the weapons but I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to enjoy any of the quests and he got mad at that and removed me.
Are items THAT important? Shouldn't the fun come from enjoying the game, its quests and areas?

Once you actually finish the game, the only thing left is running content again and loot whoring.
Knox's Armory is the fastest way to get loot in the game and the fastest way to grind the most broken stuff. Your friend was a shitlord who forgot what it was like to be new to something.

Yeah that's about it. The dialogue was also a part of it but it was mostly running through cool areas killing things and collecting guns.
The only unfortunate part was that you would never have enough space to hold every gun you wanted so it turned into spending hours trying to pick which gun you wanted to dump.
It was a fun game to play with friends. Me and my buddies played on ps3 and figured out how to mod weapons. We made a eridian weapon that fired 9999 rockets at once, that then fired 9999 rockets for each rocket. It would result in massive lag and sometimes crashing the game but it was pretty awesome desu. Would join randoms and just fuck shit up until they ragequit.
There were a few features it could of used though. Like real PVP. But I still have fond memories.
