It's still not that impressive but it looks nicer than it did. Higher res textures, improved lighting/shadows and other effects added.
Nintendo are one of the few to upgrade visuals rather than downgrade

It looks better yes, but it's the artstyle that's really off.
You can't just take SF64 and make it HD, it only ends up looking empty and sterile.

I hope they keep improving the graphics in the next 5 months. Especially with the ground textures, and HOPEFULLY add online multiplayer.
It still looks like shit and I blame the art style for it.
Also there needs to be a bigger sense of scale in some areas, or presentation. More lasers and ships flying around in the background.
