To be honest the second screen thing is cool but you get so use to using the controller and moving stuff in game it's more of a gimmick. I do keep my iPad open on it through so I can see when I'm close to over burdening myself with items

Honestly it's better than most. Like the AC Unity one where it was mini games.
Literally it's just a second screen to see your pip boy in game. Like if you could have a second monitor that just always showed the pip boy. It's neat and does help, you can have the map open too when you explore and see the arrow move when you move.
