Hey /v/ ... I'm looking for a comfy "improvement" game basically anything in which I can upgrade and improve progressively almost endlessly and expand ... could be a Sim game or some other game in which you build an empire or even run a business or something like that... anything comes to mind ? Thanks sorry for being vague
Any MMO
Monster Hunter 3 or 4
Some of the better Harvest Moon games
UFO Defense
Desktop Dungeon
Cities: Skylines
Great advice, thank you!!!

You might enjoy Factorio, build a factory and create the perfect automation system. Automate your automation.

Literally any mmo that you can find friends in. Cherish community over anything else and you'll have a good time. Ragnarok 2 was almost universally panned as a shitty sequel to Ragnarok and it was. It was a korean grinder. But I found a comfy guild to join that was based on /vg/ and it's one of the best times I had in an MMO. It was worth the grind. It was worth putting up with the bullshit.
Find friends in an mmo and you'll be happy wherever you go.
play X3
Sengoku Rance and Kamidori Alchemy Meister are also recommended. Even if you don't like the porn, the gameplay is still fairly enjoyable, and I personally enjoyed the way you have to keep track of your squads in Rance, and all your gear in Kamidori

I liked the city builders, things like Anno, or games like Civ or comfy.
That or space games, like starpoint gemini

Having played both of those, I'd have to say GW2. FF felt so cold and quite clinical in it's systems/menus etc. Even the world lacked comfort for most of it. GW2 on the other hand was so chill and beautiful I was genuinely surprised.
No bias here or anything, just my experience in looking for the same kind of thing.

Try X3: Terran Conflict / Albion Prelude.
Learning curve is pretty hefty, but it's pretty much anything/everything you want right there.
