There are right ways to do remasters and wrong ways to do them.
The right way includes adding content, features, updating the production values (fucking MIDI ost still). Not just outsourcing it to some joke studio to make a few extra bucks.
Picrelated is a game that did a great job with a remaster. You could tell these people gave a shit.
A beautiful new soundtrack, lovingly crafted new artwork, a fully redone translation, tons of gameplay tweaks, new features, new story content, a whole new way of replaying the game
