I was just playing this again today and goddammit.
Expert Mode is annoying sometimes.
I get they were trying to make it harder, obviously, but I can't help but find it annoying that the way they did it was by making it insufferably easy to lose your wings.
One time, Falco ran into me in All-Range Mode, and I lost both of my wings. He then did his obvious screech of

Star Fox is a more focused and tighter experience. It's perfectly-paced sticks to the meat and potatoes of the experience.
Star Fox 64 is kind of all over the place with its awful Landmaster and Blue Marine levels, and I've never liked the all-range mode or the voice acting. All-range mode feels clunky and breaks the flow of the game. The voice acting is annoying as fuck and I wish that the NTSC versions of the game had the Lylat voices that were an option in the PAL version.
