Let's be real here
Everybody who plays Smash 4 goes back to playing Melee or PM a week later. These DLC characters are nothing but just a life support for Smash 4. It's just a false hype which Nintendo makes the most out of it yet they still fail to topple Melee and PM. Nintendo can keep adding more DLC characters, but in the end people will still keep going back to Melee and PM. Smash 4 isn't even that great.

The weird part being is that Nintendo is actively trying to support a competitive scene for this game. He's not wrong when it comes to those types of players. Only normies will go back to this one, which isn't a big issue for nintendo since that's where the money is.

I haven't played Melee since before Brawl came out, and I quit playing Brawl once 4 came out, and then I just quit playing until DLC comes along to amuse me for another week.
I don't play PM because it doesn't interest me, it's just a mod.
