Hey, I'm a budding programmer/snake oil salesman, and when I finally get off my ass, learn C++ and remake Risk of Rain like I've been saying while I cry myself to sleep for the last 2 years, I want to make sure it isn't so fucking terrible in the places the current game is.

Probably the unbalanced classes, it would be cool for Enforcer to be able to move at anything faster than a snail's pace. Maybe if you shot the grenade in midair you could implement knockback.

Just fix bugs, make public servers/kick and ban people, and give us some more game options. Something like remove certain items on random or command, maybe kin but only with bosses, or some mode where you choose x amount of items at the beginning and don't get anything else.
