how much has Rockstar downgraded GTA V compared to IV? most of my playtime in IV was fucking around with the car damage and pedestrians (pushing them down stairs or from large heights) and i've heard that they changed these in V
It seems to be better on PC than when I originally played it on 360 at launch, but it still doesn't have the TECHNOLOGY of IV. One thing I really do miss is being able to start brawls between pedestrians. Plus not having terminator cops called on you for no reason is sorely missed.

You can't push them anymore. Vs characters glide 10 feet across the ground and kill pedestrians in one punch.
Well you have to downgrade something, V got physics downgraded, IV had fun downgraded.

I could be wrong, but didn't they add an injury system to V in the PC/Xbone/Nogaems version? I remember in the PC version after shooting a cop in the thigh he dropped to the ground screaming and started shooting at me, like they do in IV.

As unrealistic as it may be it poses a challenge and make you use urban terrain, while in IV you evaded 5-star chase by just driving forward.

I remember the car damage working properly on the PS3 version I played, with really deep dents, but the PC version had none of that.

I'm pretty sure III had the ability to rock your car if it got flipped and VC/SA definitely did. it wasn't anywhere near as easy/simple as V, but you could do it.
