What's a good headset for gaming /v/?
Things like sound quality (for music), mic quality and being able to pinpoint where sounds are coming from is key.
I've been looking at Audio Technica ATH-ADG1 which seem pretty interesting. Any other suggestions?

The Sennheiser GAME have the best mic. Well, they have a mic that sounds the most like a "studio quality" mic. There are others that might be clearer and louder for multiplayer gaming.
That's what I decided on because I wanted to keep my desk space as minimal as possible and having a floor stand for my mic seemed kind of retarded. Plus I like that it mutes the mic when you flip it up.
I was originally going to go with a standing mic but the only decent one with a mute button is the yeti which I find a bit too large and unattractive.

It would end up costing about $20 more than AD700x and a Zalman here. Doesn't seem too bad since I won't have to deal with a shitty clip-on mic. I care about not sounding like shit because I often play online games with a group of my friends.
Still use it to this day. It's USB and it works great with Windows
