It was my first Fallout game and it never engaged me.
I only played NV off a fluke of being given a burned DVD with it when I bought a drive bay (chinese people do this shit apparently).

Reddit is willing to overlook lapses in quality because they know the game as a whole will still be entertaining. Moderators and voting help cull the various shitposting and unreasonable pessimists, while still leaving a good amount of threads discussing the flaws.
