Pic related is the one true disappointment. It was the follow up to one of the greatest games of all time, and everything was in prime condition for it to surpass it in every way with the large leap in technology it was taking advantage of. But then they decided to tack on some shitty co-op, impose a shitty level structure on the game and basically remove everything that sounded interesting(like the insolation and hydration mechanics) because it wouldn't work with the aforementioned co-op. Maybe someone at Capcom saw Left 4 Dead or something, it's honestly hard to wrap my head around it.

Goddamnit I was promised a fitting conclusion to the series with a good story, having an adventure with all the characters I'd grown to love over the past two games, exploring distant alien worlds and having a sense of awe and wonder at all the environments and good game mechanics. That's pretty much how I feel. I liked what we got of the story despite the fact that the missions were all pretty much the same, but once I got to the point where all I could do is grind Side Ops I quickly grew disillusioned with the game as a whole.
It's a shame because it's obvious that it could have been much more than what we got, but that's just how it goes when you're dealing with jews like Konami.

I give rocksteady/WB props though, at least they have the balls to admit their game runs like complete garbage, admitted they can't fix it, and offers anyone a full refund at anytime they want, regardless of how many hours they have played. That's better than most companies, certainly better than ubisoft who just said "we'll fix it" when Unity ran like complete shit, 5 patches later it still ran like complete shit so they just ignored it and pretended it's not an issue.
