You're right about the gameplay, though. The demo literally had no challenge. All you had to do was spam your cutscene attacks, and then heal.

Yokai watch and doraemon are on DisneyXD another fairly dead network subchannel.
And while Yokai's time slot isn't horrible and put into a time space where no one is going to watch it, it's sill on a channel that has a low viewer rating.
Most people forget that both Nicktoon and DisneyXD are subscription only channels that you have to pay extra for unless your TV/satellite provider has it as a part of a package.
So low viewer rate + subscription channel = less people knowing about the product.
The only way Yokai watch is going to make it is if Nintendo/dentsu advertise the ever-living shit out of it like they did with Pokemon in the 90's by having it be everywhere.

You should try to fit at least two healers in PvE, one that can revive if you're not willing ot use items. Otherwise, you'll have to find your own way of making a viable team.
