If you don't see red, you don't have a memory expansion pack (or it's by a third party, but fuck that).

because some games can't save your progress unless you have a memory pack, like Tony Hawk Pro Skater. You're gonna need the expansion pack for those 2 games I listed, if you don't have it they'll refuse to work, also I think it makes the console run smoother but don't quote me on that.

I'm not even sure how to respond to this. You're implying that I watch wrestling because I liked a game that came out 15 years ago? A fun game is a fun game regardless of what it's about. I'll be 31 in a few months. I haven't watched wrestling in quite some time. Stopped not long after the Benoit murders/suicide.
IIRC there was a Hot Wheels game that was fun too.

Truly products of their time.
It's hard to find friends who can lower their graphical standards for a good night of gaming on an old system.
So instead of learning the controls and having a fun time, they'll be annoyed with the poor fidelity and quickly lose interest.
Somewhat melancholy that all those multiplayer games are now relegated exclusively to nostalgia for those of us with friends who "grew up".

If you dislike the N64 controller I recommend getting one of these
I'm gonna get shit for this, but I'd recommend Quest 64. It's historically significant, in terms of the console. Play it first, and THEN look up information about it. It's quite possibly one of the most tragic stories of what could have been a Game of the Year title struck down by hurried production and corner cutting.
