Except Noctis can summon every weapon, has the power to summon the gods ie the summons in his world, can literally teleport, deflect weapons from swords to guns with his phantom swords, teleport with his sword by throwing it into his target, we've seen him break necks with his legs, and is skilled in wielding every single weapon with expertise knowledge as well as magical spells, and he can parry a Titan which no other FF protag has done, and not even Vergil could do
As far as FF protags go in the mainline games Noctis is the second strongest only after Terra who is a literal half summon

What is Beowulf? Honestly the only reason why we've only seen him use swords is because he probably just prefers to use them. We see Dante use whatever many times, and by the point of DMC3:SE, Dante and Vergil were roughly on the same level, with the slight edge going to Vergil. Shit, when Vergil actually used a gun in DMC3:SE, he was able to pull off a charge shot just like Dante could.
We KNOW that Vergil is also an expert at hand2hand and that as son of Sparda, one of the most powerful demons who ever lived, he's basically incredibly superhuman. Let's be real, if Vergil decided to use any other sort of weapon, he'd be a beast at it.

Also in DMC4:SE, he does just that since you can't teleport to an enemy without first implanting them with a Summoned Sword.

FFXV hasn't come out yet but it's safe to say that by the end of the game, Noctis will be pretty damn powerful, but it's much closer than you think dude. I don't think you know how much of a beast Vergil is.

Every time you make contact with an opponent, the weight of what you hit doubles. Even one hit would throw off the balance of their weapons, more would make them too heavy to wield.
Despite its strange design, nothing beats it.
Somewhat vidya due to the upcoming game (which looks like shit) but I do love this sword. One of the only good weapons that gives pretty interesting fights in this somewhat poop series.

The guy who wields it, Jetstream Sam, is an Iaijutsu/Iaido user, meaning he's adept at using a sort of 'quick-draw' technique. Thing is, he heavily modified his grandfather's sword, installing a system using parts of a gun where he can pull the trigger of the sheath, which causes the sword to whip out extremely fast, using that to improve his own technique.
The clip is there just to look cool pretty much.
