TO BE FAIR, a lot of people seem to be missing the fact that even if Bethesda does make a new engine they will somehow have to make it at least be partially based on Gamebryo, or else moders will be fucked in ass.
In general I think one of the main reasons why they are still on this engine is because a new engine might change modding completely and we wouldn't have quest mods and such after one week, people would have to get used to this new stuff.
