How do you guys balance time for video games with time for your friends and girlfriend?

I work a full time job, have a girlfriend, and still play plenty of vidya.
It helps that my girlfriend is big into vidya. We are currently playing D:OS and Vermintide. Fun stuff.
Though I do, generally, limit the more hardcore vidya to the weekends when I (or we) can play for more extended periods of time.
Generally after work I only get 2-3 hours of vidya, so I play more casual or drop in/drop out stuff. The weekends I can play for a pretty long time. This weekend we're probably gonna play D:OS all day.

I'm a grad student, so my work/research is the big draw on my vidya time. If I'm lucky, I stay up on Friday night and play vidya for 4-5 hours. Otherwise that's it.
My girlfriend doesn't mind. We live together and spend all our other free time doing stuff together, so its not an issue of her feeling left out. She likes video games, but generally simpler/more relaxed ones. We play together occasionally.
Don't do too many things with friends outside of a few events here or there. I prefer the company of my gf to a lot of my friends in this city.

My gf lives with her parents as she has to travel to college and I see her on the weekend to Monday.

As for the show, it really wasn't that good. Chandler needed to get slapped, the Ross and Rachel thing was stretched out for so long it just became annoying, and it popularized the idea of season-ending cliffhangers.

I'm usually playing different Wii U or 3DS games w/ friends. Whether be online or local.
Only non-Nintendo games I play w/ friends as of late have been Destiny & WWE 2k16.
As for girlfriend, she already takes up shit ton of my time. But she's into anime and vidya. So can play w// her sometimes. Then any time extra is for school

This is literally what MMOs are for. Ability to enjoy large worlds and group, cooperative gameplay with friends regardless of where you are.
GF and I are playing SWTOR atm, with several RL friends. Also still play WoW, FFXIV, and Destiny.
Growing up doesn't mean throwing away the things you enjoy, find people who like to do them with you.
At the same time, don't get locked into a small part of your life, make sure you find friends who open you to new experiences. Went skydiving last summer for the first time, fucking insane experience.
If it's just GF and me, we play anything. Biggest fucking letdown is Halo not having splitscreen, what the fuck 343. We co-oped Halos 1-4 and suddenly we can't. Eat a dick you faggots.
