But seriously, what more can they do? The last 2 games have been set at least 30-40 years in the future and have dramatically changed the focus of the campaign. Yes the MP doesn't change much but Activision is too scared to modify their cash cow. That's obvious. But there has been dramatic innovation in the campaign and this one is going to be more different than ever.

I played Cod4 all the way to BlackOPs competitively on the 360. They did take skill to play and came down to team work, being tactical, and out playing the opponent. After Blops thought it started relying too heavy on killstreaks and the random factor was too high, giving casual players more of an even playing field so I stopped playing competitively. Also nothing wrong playing console games competitively, you can play any game competitively as long as there is a community to back it up. Most of the people who played those cods back in the day weren't 9 year olds, especially people who teamed up and took it serious.

I did too, but for some reason I couldn't get into MW3's. I think I just thought Russia fighting the world solo was a stupid concept, like no actual, WWIII. I didn't get to fight Chinese troops invading south Korea, or storm the beaches of NK with the Japanese. I always try to play a lot of different stuff, and have stayed away from modern mainstream games, but in the past week I've beaten BLops 1, started 2 and am now thinking getting 3. I don't even like the multiplayer that much aside from the party modes but I guess I'm just getting caught up in the hype.
