Choose a forum which isn't anonymous. Steam hubs are a good place for discussion on individual games. Reddit has sub-reddits for everything and with how polluted 4chan has become by FaceBook users, reddit is honestly better at this point. Arguments don't end with one kid saying "baited, faggot" and then leaving the thread. They actually stick around and sort shit out. The console wars are kept to an absolute minimum, but if you want them, there's sub-reddits for that too.
I've been visiting 4chan since 2006 and it's always been a fun place to mess around and vent about crap, but it's not a place for discussion. You need to go to an actual forum, Steam hubs or reddit if you want to talk about games.
