the light novels are better for taking a deeper dive into the mechanics of the game and making certain event seem like less of an asspull and developing asuna's character a little more, but it still wasn't that great and the anime doubled down on everything that sucked.

I'm still trying to play through Re:Hollow Fragment. Game's super fun, but a total grind. The fanservice is enjoyable too. I'm up to floor 86, about to start tackling the hollow areas. Weapon masteries are hell though. I have to get a big group of enemies and let the game play itself with auto attacks while I read a book or mess around on my phone. I wonder how Lost Song will be. Hopefully less grindy but still just as fun.
