The same applies to God Eaters. If we can use the anime as a basis, with one swipe on a mid game character an endgame monsters would seriously hurt it, while normal people get like totally splattered into a million pieces. Having armor from Gogmazios doesn't really mean that something bigger than a building simply crushing you with its hand won't kill you. Hunting games are anything but realistic. Though again Aragami are way stronger than monsters but for some dumb reason in the games they never use their main ability, only in a few cutscenes maybe and in the goddamn anime, while instead many of the MH monsters do in fact use it often, especially when pinning you.
