This is by far the biggest problem with "muh Kickstarter" indie shitter games. AAA studios are cancer in their own form but they at least have people with the experience and know how in managing a team and a project so that it can be finished in a timely manner. Kickstart shitters always get all wide-eyed and dreamy saying "OH WE'RE GONNA MAKE THIS SUPER COOL GAME JUST GIVE US ALL THE MONEY FOR IT NOW SO WE CAN WUIT OUR JOBS TO WORK ON IT FULL TIME" and then nothing happens because they're college dropouts or people with no real managing experience and they have no idea what to do with all this abundant time and money.
Yes, there are successful examples like Shovel Knight, Shantae, etc. but other than that I feel like people are gonna keep falling for the same traps until kickstart funded shit goes the way of the dinosaur.

I don't mind GG, and while I don't think its a stretch to assume that this thread has GGers in it. I just want more focus on the game itself. There's so much needless controversy surrounding this game and the people making it, and people are worried over nothing about this game taking too long when the devs update frequently. Its not like the devs suddenly went dark or some terrible news about development happened. Games take time to make. People have shitposted about Kickstarter games being dead and then they came out and were actually good. I expect the same to happen here. Its just taking a while, and the devs personal lives isn't really important to the overall quality of the game, which looks (in my opinion) to be a decent 3D platformer.

What I mean by that is, they make games in manners similar to other games that were succesful, ie, Shovel Knight, Undertale, Mighty Man.
