RE4 did well because it was a new take on a old genre. The Evil Within did terrible because it's RE4 and it's oversaturated. The west wants something "new" and at this point, classic survival horror is so dead that it's new. Otherwise the RErelease wouldn't have done so well. There is such a thing as balance but, game makers have never understood that. FF is an abysmal sale, regardless of the location but, that doesn't mean you should take an axe to your market.
