Scratches is shit. It's eerie the first day, but there are literally four scare moments spread over the whole game, one of which is a shadow and the other is "Boo, I'm an inanimate mask in front of you."
The others are good, though.

Yeah, that's the first day. The tension is completely broken once you realize the game won't ever supply any sort of antagonist to fulfill its anxious promise. There's the chase at the end, but you don't even really control that for the most part. Plus, the puzzles often aren't intuitive and require pixel hunting (not always, note).
I'm not saying it's a terrible game, but it's like the son you paid to go through medical school who grew up to run a weed dispensary.
