James was more into film but he collaborated with Mike to make the AVGN series. Doing the AVGN stuff kind of got him back into gaming, however Mike is pretty clearly the topic expert.
I'm at least glad that the two of them work together well. Aaron couldn't stand not being the expert on every topic on Game Grumps, which is part of why he kicked out Jon (the main reason was money and ownership though).
