Because it's similar to the SaGa games but not quite as in depth so people who don't like SaGa think it sucks and people who do like SaGa don't think it's as good but not necessarily bad.

Because, like back in the day, nobody pays attention to JRPGs that aren't Final Fantasy. That's why the SaGa series was renamed Final Fantasy Legend in the first place.

Demo was alright, but it doesn't seem like a $40 game. Plus, it's Atlus so it'll be $15 in like a year or so.
