Tell me about those games you got for birthdays and christmas. The weird ones that you didn't ask for but your parents just thought you'd like for some reason.
Mum got me this once. I couldn't hide my disappointment and I'm still fucking guilty about it. She thought it would be great too, which made it worse.
Pic related. For my 11th birthday. It was awful since I had already experienced Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
>I know you have Shadow Man so I thought you might like this.

I bought my own games as a kid with money I got from miscellaneous things.
Only games I ever got as a gift for Birthdays or Christmas was a Harry Potter game and M&Ms shell shocker. I can't remember what it was about but I didn't hate it.
My dad bought me this when I was like 9. I still have no idea why, I think he just picked a random game off the shelf.
It was actually pretty awesome

It got me into Aerosmith so it wasn't all bad.

A game nobody else has played called Sanvein. My dad bought it spontaneously on a whim for me, which was very un-like my dad. I remember thinking it looked shit but thanking him all the same.
But I played the fuck out of that game, it was great.
