The issue is that the xbone is doing poorly.
Most people that did buy it bought it because of brand loyalty, which means new IPs do even worse than they would otherwise.
Even the studio is unknown the xbox loyalists, so really no reason for them to care.
But also it's a game you finish and forget. Nothing hidden, or interesting, or talk-worthy.

The consensus i've found on this board about 2 is that 1 and 2 both do different things better than the other and that while 2 has a bit more polish to it, due to a decent amount of mechanics changing between games 1 is still far more challenging and is generally considered better. That said, 2 is still a good game on its own and I've seen a decent amount of threads for them in the last 2 months or so. The only threads I've seen about The Order were pure shitposting and I dont remeber any threads at all about SO since xbone users dont come here. B2 was just unfortunate enough to release on a dead console really.

Insomniac are a walking corpse at this point, it's sad to say. With the Fuse/Overstrike fiasco (I will never not be mad at 12 year olds now), the last Ratchet and Clank game getting next to no resources, marketing or budget and the increasingly terrible writing in all of their games I've lost a lot of faith in them. It's a shame, because the earlier R&C games are some of the most well voiced and well written games on the system.
For comparison I think FFA was fully of shitty internet memes that were dated at the time and then of course Sunset Overdrive.

The framerate was never a problem in Bayo2. You can say that it's "worse" because of a digital foundry video, but that's not to say that the original Bayo had a perfect framerate either or that it even mattered because at least the 360 version wasn't as bad as the ps3 version.

I personally don't have problems with the framerate (Wonderful 101 is a game where it can be a problem at times) and I've never seen any complaints about it outside of /v/. And on /v/, you really can't tell if there are genuine opinions from people who have played the game or if it's just complaints for the sake of complaints. People like to sugercoat their own spite and try to be objective in their criticism, but it just ends up being exaggerated because they can't find any bigger faults to pick at.

Personally, I enjoyed it while it lasted. The story wasn't great but it worked. Mini games were fun until their novelty wore off. Multiplayer was fun for a while too. The problem with Watch Dogs was that as good of a concept it was, it just got boring too quickly.

It does make sense, with all the hype and advertisement leading up to disappointing "AAA" games, time and time again. With single player games inherently having less replay value, those are easily forgotten.

In most instances, yes. The only notable exception are Nintendo games but let's be honest here, Nintendo doesn't "play the game", so to speak. They live in their own little bubble, do their own little thing, and at the end of the day get a 2D Mario to sell 15 million copies at full price over the course of 5 years. But yeah, everyone else works that way. Kinda wish everyone else would learn this specific lesson from Nintendo though. Say what you will about their practices as a whole, they at least get the concept of a long shelf life right.
