I live in Japan(for 10 years).

I feel tempted as fuck every time.
But nope. I never preorder because I know this stuff is made in China, and since they are supposedly detailed art products, there is a good chance Chinese sweatshops will fuck up something and that is the case for 50% of the figurines I had interest in the past. For the other 50% I either don't like the pose, or the clothes or have some other thing to bitch about.
Only recently I've been tempted to buy this xboxhueg 1/4 Hatsune Miku figurine, but I'm going to wait.

The reason I like big figurines is that it should be easier to paint. On the other hand, there is also more room to detail and more room to error. But overall, from the figures I've seen on display, the bigger the better is the quality. Plus it actually feel more like a piece of art for display than just a toy.
