I think it's time for a Team Fortress 3. Needs a new engine and a fresh start. Game is terribly unbalanced. New weapons are there, but often go ignored because there's much better choices.

I was 7 when I first played it.
It was my first PS2 game.
I experienced a magical and enthralling cast of characters in a beautifully childlike setting.
Replaying it makes me feel empty, and it only reminds how much I took my youthful perspective for granted.

There are aspects to any media that can age. If if you discount the mechanical aspects of gameplay or graphics as people being to spoiled. there are still things like pop-cultural references and other dated story elements, a games being reliant on a multiplayer community that doesn't exist anymore, a problem that will start to ensue for people in the future is a game needing patches and dlc that cant be given anymore because of lack of support etc. I'm sure we could think of other things if we tried.

Alternatively, Castlevania and Stronghold Crusader held up just fine. I could play those any day and have a blast. Mario 64 is also one that stayed really good, though for whatever reason I can't bring myself to enjoy banjo-kazooie/donkey kong 64/banjo-tooie anymore.
