I was confused there, I was thinking about the Vindicator.
But still, 4.7mm caseless ignores some armor, does about 50% more damage versus the 5mm which has reduced DR, but fires nearly twice as many rounds. Throw in Bonus Ranged Damage (which applies to every round fired) and you have a ridiculous amount of damage being thrown out that more than makes up for the increased stats on 4.7mm.
