Will Mass Effect 4 be like the first?
No. You are delusional if you think it will be anything like the first one. Bioware is dead.
>>285644704
Can only hope anon
>>285644704
ME3 is the reason I'm semi-glad we never got a KOTOR 3.
You just can't shake the feeling everything would've been fubar with EA at the helm
>>285644704
The galactic council has actually criminalized gender. Cis characters join Cerberus, now headed by Miranda who has made the organization's new mantra standing up for hetero-normalcy. Your mission as the non-gendered omnisexual Shepard is to dismantle her oppressive regime.
>>285645467
Isn't Mass Effect 4 supposed to be set before any of the events of the original trilogy?

I would play that like it's no tomorrow
>>285646614
>tfw I almost always play bioware games as a female character
>just end up having a metric ton of lesbo sex instead of getting assblasted about gay sex
>>285646419
Is this reality to big for you?
>>285644704
I wouldn't mind the next Mass Effect having a system similar to Dragon Age: Origins where depending on what race you choose determines your role in the world.
>>285648186
I'm insta locking quarian then
>>285648186
already been confirmed it won't happen like that

>wanting to play as space robots that are impossible to properly role-play
turians maybe though
>>285644704
it's going to be like Halo.
More action. No rpg.
>>285649337
Will you be able to pick your own species though or will they still go with the "Human with pre-established backstory and last name" shit?
>>285649891
>there are people that don't actively pursue a human hegemony in ME or DA
it's one of the better parts of their respective series if you realpolitik your towards human dominance
>tfw you can't go full cerberus in me2 and choose only human crew members instead of xenos

one of the devs said it will follow that style(the ME style) instead of Dragon Age style of choosing your race

Seriously, Rick Berman, what the fuck.
>>285650553
>it will follow that style(the ME style)
welp, there goes any hope of it being an RPG
what can I expect, it's bioware
>>285650553
Well there go my hopes of decaling the Mako with Mako as I go around with my Disciplinary Comity.
>>285652218
The Mako is confirmed to be coming back in the new Mass Effect. So I had an idea when that was announced to get a decal of Mako from Kill La Kill on the Mako and name my character Gamagori and also mod it to where when it run over people it would go " Hallelujah!". But now since they are doing the ME style of character creation those dreams are dashed.
>>285652603
gotcha

you fucking drones need to gtfo to /bsn/ seriously, nobody here cares anymore about your shitty violated sci fi/fantasy game with a not so hidden agenda

>don't talk about video games
>don't talk about things that could have been great
>>285644704
One thing I never understood about ST ships is where the bridge is placed. Why would you put the bridge exposed on the outside of hull? All an enemy has to do is focus fire the bridge and cause a hull breach and have the bridge crew blown into space, which has happened in TNG and Enterprise. Why not place the bridge deep inside the ships hull for protection like say the Battlestar Galactica.
>>285654146
>where the bridge is placed
thematic effect
it lets the audience know the captain is at the helm and in charge
no, it doesn't make sense, but it works as a narrative device
>>285654146
Because the Bridge is on Deck One, which is the highest part of the ship, which makes it very important.
Seriously, though, who fucking knows. It's a problem that all of the ships except the Borg ships had. Shit, it's a problem that almost all sci-fi ships have. In Star Wars most of the ships larger than fighters have their bridges/control centers on the outside or front of the ship.
>>285653367
talk about good video games, not shitty ones. know what pisses me off more than shitty video games? people who enjoy shitty video games, ie DRONES
>>285646614
david gaider got fired and patrick weeks is the new lead writer, also bioware isnt even making mass effect 4
I've always hoped for a Mass Effect where you play as a nobody but you can either choose to go with the military or the criminal underground. So it either ends with you putting the entire galaxy in chaos or peace. A oppressive orderly dictatorship or a benevolent shadow government.
>>285654746
Sorry we don't share your OPINION, kiddo. Maybe you should try ignoring posts and threads about things you hate and go find ones about things you like.
>>285654827
I heard weekes was working on DA now though?
>>285654146
One torp in STVI goes through the whole unshielded saucer like it was nothing. Putting the bridge in the center won't help much. Also, muh we're-not-a-military symbolism.
