Why Dark/Demon Souls has no music?
For me, it is the only thing it lacks.

They want you to become immersed in the most cheaply produced and annoying sounds in existence. "Bonfire" noises that sound nothing like a fucking fire, annoying ass random high pitched majula music, some guy constantly hitting a sword with his hammer etc...
It's not really talked about much but the Souls games have some of the shittest sound design I've ever heard. The boss themes are mediocre save for Gwyn's theme, the rest of the music is bad, and the sounds themselves are annoying as fuck.

I like souls but save for a few pieces, the music is non-existent and when it is there it's shit. Like so shit but nobody cares. And the sounds themselves are bad, as anon above pointed out. I can relate with the annoying ass bonfire constant sound.
