Aside from being a very polished beatemup, it has a really nice setting that, despite looking like a standard fantasy at first, had some sort of adventurous feeling. You are getting sent all over the place against weirdest enemies.
The character designs are cool, it has probably one the most badass priest representation.
Music is amazing.
Game concept was cloned many times, but no one can get it right, because it always either ends up being really cliched and boring, or has incredibly linear gameplay where you do nothing but flick over hotkeys, because all enemies do is straight charging at you, and you pretty much do the same.

I haven't been able to find any english information on what kind of effects you get prior to the finishing swing.
BM was my favorite class to play back in the NA days but her second awakening seems awfully.. underwhelming compared to most other classes' and is causing me to lean towards playing something else as my first main character in Global and delegate her to being an alt.

You get a HUGE boost to stats. You also become immune to hitsun and completely status immune. All your skills get boosted damage and exploded chasers give you all their buffs (but their damage stays neutral).
It's a huge boost that's worth it for Physical builds. On Magical builds it's not really that good due to the overall weaker chasers it has.

Physical builds were popular back when cooldown reduction was easier to stack in order to have Apostlize up as much as possible. Unfortunately, Neople nerfed CDR stacking pretty hard so keeping it up long is harder to do now.
The one thing I hate about the skill is that you MUST use Teana to activate it. If you mess up Teana somehow or forget to use it before Teana ends then you have to wait for Teana to come off cooldown to be able to use Apostlize.
