Judging from the list, you like babby tier, entry level action shit and not proper cRPGs. I can recommend:
the Gothic series, or Risen 1 if your babby eyes can't stand the ugly aged grafix.
Play Deus Ex as well.
Alpha Protocol has good dialog.
Arx Fatalis, was made by Dark Messiah devs, good game.
Vampire the masquerade bloodlines is worth checking out, get a fan patch tho.

Mount&Blade is one of those games which has the potential to be perfect but just suffers from a few unpolished things (At least in SP)
I mostly play multiplayer anyway. I came to M&B a long time ago looking for an RPG, now I play Multiplayer constantlycompetitivelyand I can't imagine how many hours I've put in. At least in the thousands and my most played game. The combat system is just that goodyou will only have tiny nitpicks if you play for fucking ages and know how everything works in terms of combat and balance. At least in NW, which is extremely balanced.
It's a worth a play in every respect. There's nothing like it, it has an interesting singleplayer system, literally the best and most involving melee combat of any game. Just don't make the mistake of playing on quarter damage, put all difficulty settings up and leave combat speed at normal. It's not that hard if you pick your fights correctly.

Arcania gets hated on because it's Gothic 4, independently though it's basically a more technically sound version of The Witcher. The games combat shits all over previous Gothic installments and the Risen series.

The combat is very good, it manages to combine the difficulty both series were known for without becoming stupidly easy in the endgame. Dodging and blocking are crisp and allow for lots of quick clean movements in battle.
Of course you wouldn't know this because you shitpost about it despite never having played it.

I can both agree and disagree. Technically it's a huge step up. The magic system is awesome. But the world is kind of small - exploring is what made the first game great to me and that's really lacking. Then there was all that filler stuff (empty enemy camps, some sort of portal on some islands, the big island being inaccessible for the most part).
It was great but also a massive downer.

Maybe you should give Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning a try. It's like a mix between Torchlight and Oblivion. There's shittons of content, the world is beautifully crafted, the gameplay is pretty cool as wel. You've got your three generic RPG archetypes (warrior, mage and thief), and you can mix them, create your own playstyle, similarly to Elder Scrolls games. People often say that it's like a single-player MMO - and they're right. I still play the shit out of it. It's also pretty cheap nowadays, so there's no excuses. Get it.

This is the game i go to when i need to scratch my rpg itch. Fun game, excellent lore and world, but the main story sucks ass. Side quests especial house of ballads are fucking amazing.
If you like obscure but good RPGs, play Gothic 1 and 2. Maybe The Witcher 1.
