I know I shouldn't ever defend Tumblr - and honestly usually it is a lot like /v/ says - but I remember one timewhen I used to go on Tumblrwhere I saw a long post with pictures about a guy who had nearly been raped. Basically his girlfriend (or wife, I can't remember) got drunk and threatened him with a broken bottle, and he got a few cuts when he tried to talk her down. She was apparently laughing the whole time about how he was a man, she couldn't push him around, if he really wanted to he could just snap her neck or whatever. And the guy also pointed out the bias when he eventually went to counseling towards his relationship partner, since guys obviously are the bad guys in abusive relationships.
Now, this was one time - and I never honestly saw the like again - but sometimes Tumblr does get both sides of the issue.

as for actual games - they usually contain a subtle undertone or 'message' at most. blatant and consistent agendas are very rare.
like, play gta4. it'll have some over-the-top parodies of realiy in it that could be interpreted as vaguely referencing or mocking some aspects of contemporary american culture. the ads and news on the radio for example.

but in the end, these are minor parts of the game. the parodies still work as jokes on their own, the storyline doesn't serve to communicate a 'message', the characters aren't written to make a point.
likewise, take fallout.
