As for atelier I dunno, I agree that at first glance it looks as trashy as neptunia but I gave Rorona a shot and loved it. Doesn't look like the newer ones are any different so I don't think there's anything to be done either.

Has that ever been implied? Why would you want to play the same game on inferior hardware, and in turn giving you an inferior experience?
Or better yet, the games being limited to a single platform can also effectively limit their chances of being localized. For example, had that Dragon Quest Warriors game been made for the Wii U, and Nintendo seeing the success of Hyrule Warriors, Americans would have a chance to play that game. No telling if the PS3 or PS4 versions will be localized, but at least with Nintendo, there's a chance.
I think the better question is, why are giant, multilmillion dollar corporations limited to two platforms at best? Surely they could afford to make more versions, but they choose not to for god knows what reason.
